Editorial and Review Policy

Last updated: 27 September 2026

This policy explains how products are selected, tested, reviewed and updated on this blog.

Editorial purpose

The goal is to help bloggers, affiliates, founders and small businesses understand what marketing software does, how it works and whether it may fit their needs.

Hands-on testing

When an article is labelled hands-on or tested, I aim to use the product inside a real account, complete a relevant workflow and record measurable observations. The depth of testing is stated in the article.

Note: this blog is a testing ground, and everything you see is the result of a test or campaign using an AI assistant or manually created.

Evidence boundaries

I distinguish between personal test results, information visible in my account, official provider information and my own opinion. I do not claim to have tested every feature when I have not.

Accuracy and fact-checking

Prices, plans, credits, features, names, statistics, links and comparison claims are checked before publication where practical. AI-generated statements are not treated as verified facts. Readers should confirm current commercial details at checkout.

Screenshots

Original screenshots are used where they help demonstrate the workflow. Sensitive information is removed or obscured. Images may be resized and compressed for performance without changing their meaning.

Affiliate relationships

Affiliate commissions may support testing and publishing, but they do not guarantee positive coverage. Material commercial relationships are disclosed near relevant links.

Mentions of Scale.gg and its applications may use my tracked affiliate link.

Corrections and updates

Articles may be updated when products, prices or policies change. Meaningful errors should be corrected as soon as reasonably possible. Older screenshots may remain when they are clearly identified as part of a dated test.

Comparisons

A product is not declared superior without an appropriate basis. Where a controlled side-by-side test has not been performed, that limitation should be stated.

Reader responsibility

Reviews are informational, not personalised advice. Readers should assess their own requirements, budget and risk and verify the current offer before purchasing.
