About Daniel Popa and How I Test AI Marketing Tools

Last updated: September 2026

Hello, I’m Daniel Popa. I created this blog to share practical, first-hand reviews and testing of the Scale apps suite.

I am interested in what happens after the sales-page promise: how long setup takes, what the interface is like, what a real project produces, where beginners may need help and what must still be checked before publication.

Why I created this blog

AI software can look impressive in a short demonstration, but choosing a tool requires more than a feature list. A useful review should show the workflow, the setup, the output and the work that remains for the user.

My goal is to make these tools easier to understand for bloggers, affiliate marketers, solo founders, creators and small businesses—especially beginners who may not have an internal marketing or technical team.

How I test a platform

Whenever possible, I test software from inside my own logged-in account and use it for a real project. The exact process varies by application, but my standard workflow includes:

  1. Define a practical task. I choose a project that reflects something a real user may need, such as building a website, creating a brand system or publishing a blog post.

  2. Start from a realistic position. I use a fresh project where practical, then record the setup required before meaningful work can begin.

  3. Read the instructions. I review the product guidance so I can use the intended workflow rather than judge a tool from a random prompt.

  4. Provide real context. I may add brand colours, project goals, audience information, source documents or a PDF so the test resembles genuine business use.

  5. Complete the workflow. I follow the task from setup to output, noting timing, credits, specialist roles, handoffs and editing requirements.

  6. Capture evidence. I take screenshots from my account and record measurable results that can be explained in the article.

  7. Review the output. I check facts, pricing, links, claims, images, formatting and whether the finished material is ready to use.

  8. Explain the boundaries. I state what I tested, what I did not test and which information came from official product materials.

What “tested” means on this blog

“Tested” means I accessed the product and completed the workflow described in the article. It does not automatically mean that I tested every feature, integration, subscription tier or edge case.

Each article should identify the test date, project, evidence and important limitations. If a description combines hands-on observations with current official information, that distinction should be made clear.

Platforms and workflows tested so far

ClickCampaigns.ai website-building test

Tested: 23 September 2026

I used ClickCampaigns.ai to build a complete AI marketing review website. I prepared the brand direction, explained the project, uploaded supporting information and followed the guided workflow.

The test demonstrated the value of the multi-agent workflow while also reinforcing an important rule: every AI-generated fact, price, comparison, link, legal statement and image choice must be reviewed before publication.

PageBuilder.gg editing and publishing workflow

Tested: September 2026

After the generated website was handed to PageBuilder.gg, I worked through practical editing tasks including page creation, templates, navigation, footer content, buttons, links, image replacement, mobile editing, forms, brand imports, domain connection and export options.

This part of the test focused on what happens after AI generates a first draft: the human editing required to turn that draft into a usable website.

BrandBaser brand-context workflow

Tested: September 2026

I tested BrandBaser by exploring the Brand Base wizard, Brand Kits, Ideal Client Profiles, Project Instructions and Action Brief workflow.

The test examined how structured brand, customer and task context can be prepared once and reused across AI-assisted projects.

BlogBaser blog-creation workflow

Tested: September 2026

I created a fresh blog inside BlogBaser and tested the setup and editorial workflow, including themes, navigation, authors, post elements, writing styles, source instructions, AI Writer, Affiliate Writer, images, SEO settings, redirects and scheduling.

The long-term publishing, traffic and automation test is continuing. Results that require more time should not be presented as complete until enough evidence is available.

The wider testing project

The longer-term goal is to test the applications available through the Scale.gg suite and publish a practical guide or review for each relevant workflow.

I have not yet completed a full independent project through every application. Depending on when you read this page, additional reviews may already be available on the blog. New guides will be added as testing is completed rather than describing every app as fully tested in advance.

How I handle AI-generated information

AI can accelerate research, planning and production, but it can also produce confident inaccuracies. My publishing rule is to check important information from any AI tool before it goes live.

Affiliate relationships and independence

Some links on this blog are affiliate links. If you make a qualifying purchase, I may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. These commissions can help support account access, test projects, screenshots, research and tutorials.

An affiliate relationship does not guarantee positive coverage. I aim to explain what worked, what required editing, the limits of my test and who may benefit from the product.

You can view the Scale.gg platform and current application suite here. To review the provider's current legal policies, open the sales page and scroll to the footer.

Corrections and updates

Software changes quickly. Articles may be updated when prices, interfaces, features or policies change. If you spot an error, please include the article URL and the information that needs review.
